All India Football Federation (AIFF) has allotted A, C & D coaching courses to Kerala which KFA conducts meticulously all-round the year to improve the quality of football coaching in the State & the Nation by educating our coaches.

Grassroots Leaders Course:
The intention of this course is to introduce the pivotal concepts of ‘Football Growth’ to its participants which starts with Children’s football (including other Grassroots activities) & eventually grows into Professional football (Club & National Teams) through Elite Football (Professional Academies & National Selections).

AIFF ‘D’ Licence:
An introductory step to Professional football coaching in India. Bare basics of Football Coaching are taught to rookie Coaches through this course the duration of which is 6 days.

AFC ‘C’ Licence
This course is designed to teach the Coaches to organise, direct & conduct basic Coaching practices targeting especially young players. The course lasts 13 days & requires a minimum of 85 hours of study time for both the practical & theoretical sessions.

AFC ‘A’ Licence:
This course is meant for coaches who hold both the ‘C’ & ‘B’ Coaching Certificates. Selection of participants is based only on the recommendation of the instructors. The course duration is 27 days with a minimum of 148 hours.
It is designed to educate coaches in tactical & advanced technical requirements of teams & team management. Physiological & Psychological needs of the players are part of this module to help coaches enhance their understanding of the game. Students are examined on the practical & theoretical aspects of the game & are required to submit & present a dissertation.
