Based on FIFA’s policy, regular trainings are conducted for our referees to ensure that refereeing standards continue to improve and the Laws of the Game are applied the same way everywhere.
KFA Recruits top-class referees by putting them through CAT-5 Course which includes the below segments.
- 5 Day Classroom Training
- Theory Examination
- Fitness Test
- Practical Exam
- Viva
Two promotion tests are conducted per year for each of the below transitions.
- CAT-5 to CAT-4
- CAT-4 to CAT-3
Promotion test from CAT-3 to Cat-2 is conducted by the All India Football Federation (AIFF) while the FIFA Referees test is directly conducted by FIFA.
